Thống kê trên Google Scholar (ngày 21/12/2019)
Năm 2019, Viện nghiên cứu Y Dược học Quân sự, Học viện Quân y đã đăng 21 bài báo tiếng Anh trên các tạp chí quốc tế. Trong số đó, có 9 bài chỉ số ảnh hưởng (Impac Factor) > 3, có 8 bài báo mà tác giả có tên đầu hoặc chịu trách nhiệm chính (corresponding author) là cán bộ của Viện. Các hướng nghiên cứu nổi bật có bài báo Quốc tế bao gồm các nghiên cứu về mầm bệnh truyền nhiễm, ung thư, ảnh hưởng dioxin lên sức khỏe người dân Việt Nam, điều chế và đánh giá hoạt tính dược chất. Kết quả này là sự nỗ lực, say mê trong nghiên cứu khoa học của các cán bộ, nhân viên và là kết quả của sự hợp tác hiệu quả, tin cậy với các trường Đại học, Viện nghiên cứu trên thế giới như Đại học Y khoa Kanazawa và Đại học Toyama, Nhật Bản, Đại học Tuebingen và Viện Robert Koch, Đức, và các Viện nghiên cứu trong nước như Viện Hàn lâm khoa học Việt Nam, Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội.
