Tóm tắt

Objectives: To evaluate initial results of skin-sparing mammary gland surgery or conservation of nipples combined with breast reconstruction using padded bags in treatment for early breast cancer patients (stage I, II). Subjects and methods: 44 early stage breast cancer patients (T1, 2; tumor diameter ≤ 3 cm; N0M0) under 65 years of age who underwent immediate implant breast reconstruction in Viet Nam National Cancer Hospital from 2016 to 2019. Results: Mean age of patients was 42.54 (range 25 to 64). 20 patients underwent immediate implant following nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM), but 2 cases were found positive retroareolar biosy so it required a removal of nipple-areola complex; 24 patients were treated by skin-sparing mastectomy (SSM). Mean implant volume was 285 mL (range 175 to 400 mL). Postoperative complication: 1 infection, 2 seroma, 1 mild nipple-areolar necrosis, 1 mild grade capsular contracture; 1 case of implant must be removed because of infection. Patient’s satisfaction rate reached over 93.2% after surgery. * Keywords: Breast cancer; Nipple-sparing mastectomy; Skin-sparing mastectomy.
